Excellent information as usual telling us exactly what we need to know and giving us a laugh at the same time. Also much appreciated that you didn’t put it behind a paywall for your many readers. I’m definitely tempted to go now. Xxxx
Love your holiday posts and I’m glad to see carafes of wine are still available in Greece. I went to Croatia this year and wine was 40 euros a bottle and upwards.
I'm SO pleased you enjoyed Kefalonia! A return is a must, even if you just sit and gaze out at the billionaire yachts in Fiskardo 🩵. As always Lisa, an enjoyable, informative read! Have a lovely weekend Xx
Fab read and now craving a Greek salad!!! Only ever been to Crete and Kos (earthquake 4 days in 😳) but desperate to visit more of the islands as I don’t think you get that shade of blue anywhere else in the world 💙 Glad we’re not the only family to have ‘heated’ discussions 🫢
Oh so many heated discussions the older they get 😳 you definitely need to visit it’s eye wateringly beautiful! Have a super weekend and thanks for reading xx
I love reading your holiday articles. We overlapped with you in Kefalonia and came down with a bug half way through so also didn't see as much of the island as we'd have liked. Your previous post about holidays gone wrong helped with this too! Glad we're not the only family experiencing car stress too. And with older kids, everyone has an opinion!
Oh I’m sorry you were sick! It’s no fun being sick in 40 degrees! Yes the older the kids get the more opinionated they become 😂 hope you still managed to enjoy your hols! Thanks for reading xx
Anywhere Greek is a winner for me too! We loved Kefalonia when we went, but Corfu is the one we return to most.
I really like your holiday booking method - we usually try to book direct after being told just exactly how much(little!) they get paid by the big travel companies.
Currently checking out your hotel for next year as we speak - thank you for all of your recommendations! 🇬🇷
I love Corfu too, I have a Kassiopi review in my archives. Yes I always always book direct and I keep an eye on the price right up to when we have to pay a month in advance! Thanks so much for reading xx
Oh SO beautiful, Lisa! We’ve been talking about Greece for a family holiday, rather than just pretending we’re there at The Real Greek 😆! I loved it when I visited Thassos moons ago with a friend - and this is equal parts super-helpful and super-inspiring! 💙
It’s a very special place & we will never stop returning. Thank you for the vicarious visit & making my eyes🥹& mouth🤤 water. Hope you make it to my favourite Fiskardo next time🤞🏼Those roads though🫣😰😱

Woah! Really? That’s expensive. No, the carafe is still live and kicking in Greece! Thanks so much for reading and happy Saturday xx
I also rate a hotel pool by the quality of its sunloungers. Can make or break your day!
100pc. If it’s not padded, it’s an issue 😂thanks for reading!

Thanks for sharing, it’s on my list for 2025 holidays!
It’s really beautiful. I love all of Greece but Kefalonia is super pretty. Thanks for reading! Xx
