Love everything! Although I did at one point think the ikea side table was a very fancy wooden dumbbell for a full 30 seconds 😆

Haha! I thought it looked like a spinning spool.

Omg I’m so here for reading your stuff out loud and having a good laugh every Saturday morning in bed. The brown rim tipped us over the edge. Well played 🫡

Hahaha I have just removed that line as I thought it was a bit close to the knuckle 😳😂 I can’t write that word without going off on a tangent though. Honestly 🙄

Oh lord I want three gold champagne bowls and a family of stripy green pouffes to enjoy my first ever proper OWN GARDEN this summer. But where will I keep them all, the house is full - can you do a roundup of sheds next, ta.

The Pier! My mums furniture in her wee back sitting room was all from there, I used to love going. I actually have a Christmas tree decoration from there and I re-wrap it every year in the branded tissue paper and wee plastic bag!

Still have so many things from Habitat including wedding presents from 35 years ago. Wish they still had stand alone shops … don’t get the same buzz collecting from Argos in the local Sainsbury’s 🙃

It’s not quite the same but so glad it’s still going!

Loved that Oxford Habitat. My dining chairs bought from there in 1993 are still in use by the next generation. So comfortable. And I loved the directors chairs for the garden with the changeable slings.

There was a Pier store in Leeds! At the top of one of the shopping centres. Gutted when it closed. I had an Ikea cocoon lamp until the arrival of a naughty Russian Blue kitten who managed to separate the shade into two halves during the night. So that was then end of that.

The Pier. Oh, The Pier. I used to take a day trip to Brighton from my teeny village in Hampshire to visit the bright lights and we always went to The Pier for its island paradise aesthetic.

Still love Habitat. Bought a green garden bench only last week which is perfect for my courtyard garden.

I know that bench it’s a great buy! And yes The Pier was the pinnacle of cool wasn’t it. The best place to browse.

Loved Habitat - loads of my wedding presents came from there including a marble wine cooler which I still have 35 years later!

Amazing! Yes they’ve reimagined quite a few older designs too, still going strong! But do miss the IRL stores

We too have the Days forum sofas…if you or your sister have any tips on restoring the leather then please let me know! Can’t bring ourselves to part with them but they are becoming very worn (we have the cream/beige). Also love that Case furniture have been given the licence to reproduce them again!

Oh I’ll find out from her! Hers still looks in pretty good. And have they! That’s brilliant. Such a cool design and classic too, a great investment to have made 👌🏻

I really love that IKEA table - its very pleasing and original, and I am talking myself into how very useful it just might be!
