You very much have me wanting to collect enough people to stay in this very house in Portugal and have breakfast cooked for me whilst I play ping pong… The whole trip looks gorgeous - as does your mum. *bulk buys Olay*

Do it Natasha! I have never stayed in a house where someone has come to cook before and it’s a game changer! Less than eating in a restaurant. So relaxing! Thanks for reading and have a FAB weekend xx ps also read two books

Your mother is gorgeous, and a family holiday house must have been such fun! Loving that wicker chair, too, not that I could possibly cram any more into my flat. I once saw a house in a magazine with a huge, long, wide corridor, punctuated by exquisite chairs, and it is my idea of heaven.

Isn't it lovely! And yes, honestly if you get a moment google the Palisociety Hotels. They are all just so beautifully decorated and individual - the Santa Barbara one was a dream. Thanks so much for reading and commenting, Jo.

Very interested to hear about your family get together to celebrate your mum, we did the same just last weekend. All the family (well apart from the ones living in Australia!), 13 of us got together in Shropshire in a large converted farmhouse to celebrate my mum's 80th. We also had a chef for one night (something I now want/need every night 😅) and actually turned out to be very good value. Our trip worked well and all agreed it would be lovely to get together for that proper down time every year for a couple of nights (5 you did well!). Your Portuguese place sounds just the ticket ☀️ ... So guess I'd better start planning now. Although I know what I'm like when I start of those Pasteis de nata 😍

It’s such a good way to do it. But also I think to worked as we all had our own space too. And ha yes! The chef was so good - what a game changer that was! Your trip sounds fab too. Thanks so much for reading and you should def look further afield for your next one, this was super good value xx

Hit all the links and googled as always with your posts! 🤗love that Ella is embracing vintage. I was joyous when Tom said he wanted an “old red rug like ours at home” for his ( very modern )new flat 👌🏻🥰xx
