I love the idea of not being influenced. Clearly, everyone gets influenced, but the slow collection of a home over time makes for the most satisfying and idiosyncratic spaces. Viva la slow-curated home!

I honestly this this is the very best way to decorate! You should have fun with the pieces in your home, moving them around can give them an entirely new look - what looks the same in one space can look entirely different in another! Thanks for reading Jenni xxx
I love your final sentence! I absolutely no longer care what the family thinks about things I bring into the house! Some they like and some they don’t …the Vitra grand repos chair got the biggest groans and now everyone fights to sit on it 😂
