Thoughts For A Friday
Some random musings before the weekend begins and I open a bottle of wine - what I've watched, bought, worn, eaten, read and lusted after this week.
It’s been a random week, although one mostly spent unable to walk up the stairs due to a gym session involving split squats (who in the HELL invented this exercise of torture?) alongside what seemed to be the flu. Luckily, I seem to have recovered this afternoon and, unlike last night when the idea of a cold glass of wine wouldn’t even compute, I can categorically tell you I will be opening the bottle within the next hour. Today, I’ve been filming a brand campaign that involved me making pasta from scratch - YES FROM SCRATCH - and although I don’t think that Circolo Popolare will be head hunting me for kitchen expertise, astonishingly it turned out just fine. Making pasta is one of those things that has never even crossed my mind - I am slightly obsessed with the Dell’Ugo Prawn, Crab & Crayfish ravioli from Waitrose - but now? I feel like the world is my pasta shaped oyster so watch this space, ha.
Anyway, I had an hour before the wine came out of the fridge so I thought I’d do a little run down of what I’ve watched, bought, worn, eaten, read and lusted after this week. Just for fun. Hope you all have the nicest of Bank Holiday weekends!
