Thoughts For A Friday
Some random musings - what I've watched, bought, worn, eaten, read and lusted after this week including wicker chairs, massive sandwiches, cat fountains and crying over James Blunt on the treadmill.
Ah, it’s been a long week and it is with great excitement that I enter into the Friday spirit today and prepare myself for a large glass of wine and a LOT of crisps later. We have a fun weekend planned of not very much which is always my favourite kind of weekend, if I’m being honest. On my list is having my eyebrows updated (priorities, people), some nice food, film watching (I am feeling very behind on the current Netflix trends due to my current trawl through to the end of Call My Agent), Glastonbury watching, drinks with friends and finally, watching England play Slovakia. Their performance so far actually forced me out of the living room to go and sort out the washing in preference, so fingers crossed they do a better job on Sunday.
I have had, unexpectedly, a quite angsty fortnight after spending a significant part of last Sunday in A&E due to a health hiccup and the week post waiting for an appointment and scans to confirm that I was okay. There is not a lot worse than waiting, I tell you, especially if you have prior convictions as I do and the conclusion that I was perfectly fine on Tuesday took a weight the size of a small country off my chest. Anyway, the relief that I would, in fact, live to fight another day was EXTREME. Blimey, life can be stressful.
